Coverage details

What Swift Lite covers.

Swift Lite is a lean beta plan: essential outpatient cover for the everyday illnesses that send most Nigerians to a clinic, plus emergency care. Here is exactly what you get, and what is not in scope, so there are no surprises at the clinic.

Pre-launch. These are the intended benefits for Swift Lite. Limits and copays are indicative and confirmed when cover opens.

The conditions we treat

Swift Lite is scoped tightly to the five illnesses Nigerians actually present with, plus a GP consultation to triage any of them, and emergency care.

Malaria

Rapid diagnostic test, the full medication course, and a follow-up consult.

Typhoid

Widal test, antibiotics where indicated, and review until recovery.

Chest infections

Coughs, sinusitis, bronchitis and other acute respiratory illness.

Stomach bugs

Gastroenteritis and infective diarrhoea, with rehydration and medication.

Minor injuries

Cuts, sprains, burns and superficial wounds, with same-day care.

Emergency care

Genuine emergencies are covered from day one, anywhere in Nigeria.

Your benefits and limits

Annual limits are per member. Small flat copays apply at the point of care and are capped so a visit never breaks the bank.

Detailed benefit limits are being finalised. See the plan summary on the pricing page.

Indicative, subject to change at launch. After cover opens there is a 14-day grace period on a missed payment, then a 30-day window to reinstate without a new waiting period.

Included, and not included.

  • Care for malaria, typhoid, chest infections, stomach bugs and minor injuries
  • Emergency care across Nigeria, from day one
  • Cover for up to two dependants on a single policy

What is not covered

  • Mental health and chronic disease management
  • Cancer, surgery, physiotherapy and elective procedures

See the price and reserve your place.

Reserving takes a minute, costs nothing, and is not a contract of insurance. We will email you to confirm your price and start date when cover opens.
